Dr. Wu Acupuncture

Austin's Best Acupuncture Healing Arts Center

Drs. Yan He and Qianzhi Wu’s Farewell Letter to Clients.

Dear Friends and Clients, It is with mixed emotions that we announce our departure from Acupuncture Healing Arts Center, effective April 1, 2024. This decision comes after two significant events. First, we learned of the abrupt impending closure of AOMA this April. Second, Yan was informed by her brother that their 91-year-old mother is experiencing general health decline and cognitive regression. We believe it's important for us to spend time with our loved ones while we still can. Therefore, we are announcing our retirement today. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your trust and confidence in us over the years. Providing quality acupuncture care has been our greatest pleasure and professional passion. It has always brought us immense satisfaction to hear about your improved health and pain relief. We understand the importance of the continuity in your quality health care. That's why we're pleased to introduce Dr. Xiaotian Shen, who we've carefully selected to continue serving the community at our current location after we retire. Dr, Shen and we have known each other since 1980’s. Dr. Shen is the 4th generation of a medical family and received his training in acupuncture and herbal medicine in China, with an advanced degree in public health in Jerusalem. With over 30 years of clinical experience, he has been a faculty member and practitioner at AOMA for over 25 years, where he has built a strong reputation. Dr. Shen's combination of deep knowledge, extensive experience, and caring nature makes him an ideal choice to serve your needs with natural medicine after our departure. For more information about Dr. Shen please visit his webpage at www.drshenacupuncture.com (currently under construction). Of course, we fully understand that you may seek healthcare from another practitioner if you like. We’ll continue to provide our services until April 1, 2024. For your appointment with Dr. Xiaotian Shen after March, please visit https://calendar.app.google/bF8rX9N1Z6gYAnaS6 We have deeply valued serving you and the relationships we have built. We wish you all the best in your continued health and wellness journey. Sincerely yours, Yan He & Qianzhi Wu

NOTIFICATION OF DEPARTURE OF PRACTICE

Dear clients: In accordance with Texas Medical Board (TMB) Board Rule 165.5 when a physician retires, terminates employment, or otherwise leaves a medical practice, he or she is responsible for: (1) ensuring that patients receive reasonable notification and are given the opportunity to obtain copies of their records or arrange for the transfer of their medical records to another physician; and (2) notifying the board when they are terminating practice, retiring, or relocating, and therefore no longer available to patients, specifying who has custodianship of the records, and how the medical records may be obtained. When Drs. Yan He and Qianzhi Wu retire and terminate their practice, the Acupuncture Healing Arts Center remains open and the new practitioner, Dr. Xiaotian Shen will practice in the same location and thus Dr. Xiaotian Shen is the custodian for all medical records. All clients’ medical records are kept in a locked cabinet at Acupuncture Healing Arts Center at 11651 Jollyville Road, Suite 150, Austin, TX 78759. Clients can obtain copies of their records by calling Drs. Yan He and Qianzhi Wu before their departure on April 1, 2024, or Dr. Xiaotian Shen after their departure date at 512-331-3866. Sincerely, Drs. Yan He and Qianzhi Wu
